Series Description: This record series documents the work history of employees at Dow Chemical and Rockwell International, contractors at Rocky Flats from 1951-1975 and from 1975-1989, respectively. The records provide the following information for active employees: employee names, identification numbers, current and previous addresses, telephone and social security numbers, emergency contact names and addresses, hire dates, previous employers, educational backgrounds, and military service data. For terminated employees, information also includes birthdates, ages at hire, weights, heights, sex, birthplaces, marital status, children, and physical defects. Included in the series are microfilm copies of master employee cards for Rockwell International employees who appeared on the March 3, 1978, Internal Exposure Report. These employees were either restricted from radiation areas, had 10 percent or greater maximum permissible lung burdens, or had positive wound counts or skin contamination.
