Series Description: This series consists of forms used for the Timeout Study relating to employees' lifestyle habits. The data was abstracted from comprehensive medical histories and pre-employment medical questionnaires created between 1984 and 1987. Basic identifying information includes study numbers, employee names, social security numbers, and years of medical examination. Also provided are data concerning employees' tobacco use habits (e.g., whether employees smoked or chewed tobacco); drinking habits (e.g., whether employees drank coffee, tea, soda, beer, liquor, or wine); exercise routines (e.g., whether employees walked, jogged, swam, biked, or played football); and medical history (e.g., whether employees had chronic medical problems, work restrictions, and occupational radiation exposure).
