Series Description: This series consists of various kinds of logbooks that describe the routine duties and observations of health physics personnel. Most of the logs are shift logs or shift turnover logs that record work conditions, incidents, accidents, spills, exposures, contamination and decontamination procedures that occurred during particular shifts, and inspections of work areas conducted at shift turnover intervals. Others include communications logs, engineering logs, and environmental monitoring logs. Monitoring results are given in millirems per hour and microcuries per cubic centimeter. Logs provide updated information and changes in routine procedures, use of equipment, and handling waste. Some personnel information is also included.
