Series Description: This series consists of permits which were used to document routine building repairs and maintenance in radiation-controlled areas. Information on the permits include descriptions of work to be performed; buildings, rooms, or areas where work was needed; supervisors' names and telephone numbers; and the permits' effective dates and times. The worksheets also indicate whether protective clothing, respirators, and dosimeters were required for completing the work. Before 1990, Radiological Health and Safety Work Permits were interfiled with records described in Volume VI. Building Radiation Contamination Survey Records, 1965-1992.
