Series Description: This series consists of drum-level and trailer-level descriptions of waste containers either shipped offsite or disposed of at the "onsite mound." The trailer-level descriptions include short descriptions of the waste (usually "plant waste"); total weights and volumes of shipments; and total weights of plutonium, americium, and uranium in the waste. The drum-level descriptions provide the drum serial numbers, class codes, weights, inspection dates, and radioactivity (in millirems) at, and three feet from, the drums. In general, records from the mid-1970s onward are more detailed than those created earlier. Data Elements: 89, 120 |
