Series Description: The Waste Operations Records consist of a variety of interfiled worksheets relating to the safe handling, storage, and disposal of low-level waste. Included are Low Level Waste Box Log Sheets, Low Level Waste Certification Sheets, Drum/Crate Examination Reports, Low Level Waste Identification and Compliance Sheets, Waste Processing Requests, Drum Count Sheets, and Low Level Waste Sample Assays. Among the types of data provided are box and seal identification numbers, buildings which produced the waste, amounts of radionuclides (measured in grams), inspection lot numbers, evaluations of containers' conditions, determinations regarding whether to continue storing the waste, and inspectors' and supervisors' signatures.
