Series Description: This series consists of four-part general ledgers which track the inventory of various nuclear and controlled materials maintained onsite. The ledgers are divided according to the manner in which data in the tracking system were sorted. Three of the four parts are the physical inventory, arranged by Item Description Code (IDC), Project Status Code, and Material Balance Area (MBA). These parts list the amounts of nuclear or controlled materials on hand and also include element names, numbers, and weights; IDCs; Physical Status Codes; and MBAs where elements were located. The fourth part is a general ledger which documents changes in total inventory amounts for each month. It lists the RIS [Receiving Inspection Station]/MBA code, element number, beginning inventory weight, onsite and offsite receipt weights, onsite and offsite shipment weights, book and physical inventory weights, and inventory difference weight for each element in the RIS/MBAs. Weights are presumably noted in grams. Data Elements: 89, 120 |
