Series Description: This series consists of guidelines used to prevent plutonium from going critical during the various stages of processing and production. Recommendations, made for Buildings 771, 776, 777, 881, and 991, include safety procedures, locations and descriptions of the production processes involved, floor plans, drawings, and approval signatures. Also in the series are two notebooks used to record calculations which determined the criticality levels of various mixtures containing plutonium. For related records, see Volume II.
