Series Description: This series is comprised of inspection and certification documents, or travelers, for "J-Line" stainless steel components manufactured by American Car and Foundry Industries (ACF) of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Each document contains information concerning inspection results for a component. Data on the forms include a brief description of the component, ACF part number, project and reference drawing numbers, serial number, inspection specifications, remarks, and inspectors' stamp and signatures. Cover letters which accompanied the travelers and contain part serial and shipper numbers are also included. For related records, see Volume IV.
