Series Description: Tensile test records for a variety of materials comprise this series. Materials tested include beryllium, aluminum, SS [stainless steel], copper wire, steel, "MONEL" tubing, silver, titanium, Neoprene, and mylar laminated tape. Results were recorded in graph format and on standard forms for each sample. These indicate the material, history, date, program (especially for SS materials), load range in pounds, crosshead speed in inches per minute, gage length in inches, extensometer, magnification, strain rate in inches per inches per minute, charge number, submitting name, tester initials, sample number, dimensions, area in square inches, ultimate strength in pounds and 103 pounds per square inch, 0.2 percent yield strength, elongation, and remarks.
