Series Description: This series contains the results of radiography tests conducted on components and assemblies to insure that they met proper design specifications. The reports indicate test types; radiographic report, part, and batch numbers; limits of resolution; whether the items were accepted or rejected; comments; authorizing signatures; and dates. The X-ray film shows various views of the components or assemblies being tested. Logs that are also a part of the series were used to track the completed tests. Entries include report numbers and dates, "X-File" numbers, names of persons requesting tests, test descriptions and types, maximum depths, number of units, part numbers, number and types of views, film loads and numbers, "penetrameters," remarks, and dates returned.
