Series Description: This series consists of forms, diagrams, correspondence, handwritten notes, and drawings which document the initiation, progress, and quality of maintenance projects. Data in the records include work start and completion dates, types of work performed, processes involved, inspections and quality testing conducted, personnel and materials needed, time allotted, and deficiencies. Additionally, records pertaining to work in radiation-controlled areas indicate the types of protective clothing and equipment required. Projects of interest are the evaluation of the process waste system in Building 731; the maintenance of criticality alarms, air compressors, pipes, and fire walls; the modification of gloveboxes and production lines; and the installation of oil drain valves.
