Series Description: This series pertains to employees who were involved in the October 1965 glovebox fire in the plutonium fabrication area in Building 776/777. The series consists primarily of logs of bioassay results for every employee who was in the building during the fire. The logs provide employee names, identification and social security numbers, genders, ages, external exposure rates, body and lung burden counts, and subsequent work histories (i.e., when employees were terminated, retired, or returned to work). Also included are binders of graphs which illustrate radiation levels in blood, urine, and fecal samples. These records are being used for a study of radiation exposure limits and the half-life of plutonium. Data Elements: 7-8, 16-17, 20, 25, 62, 69, 71, 81, 103, 122, 124
