Series Description: This series is presently being prepared for retirement. Record types include blueprints-as-built, equipment layouts, memoranda, reports, and correspondence. Of interest to the 1957 project are three folders titled 1957 Fire, 1957 Fire Building 771 9-11-57, and Fire and Contamination Building 771 9-11-57. A March 13, 1958, draft titled Determination of Contamination From Rocky Flats Plant In the Environs-Interim Report, by S. E. Hammond, details the total alpha activity of water samples; the total alpha activity of Standley Lake and Great Western Reservoir; pulse height analyses other than vegetation; and the total activity of vegetation within the Rocky Flats Plant. Correspondence describes recommendations for fire protection improvement.
