The correspondence consists of letters to hospitals and next of kin requesting access to medical and autopsy records of former employees. The series also includes lists of hospital addresses and names of patients who died of lung cancer at each hospital, with tracking sheets for responses; information on histologic tumor types and diagnostic techniques used to determine tumor types; discharge summaries; autopsy and cytology reports; and copies of medical records.
