The CER computer system automatically flags inconsistent data, such as different social security numbers occurring for an individual, missing job codes, and data entered incorrectly or failing to match other data in the system. The system assigns a number to each inconsistency and produces computer-generated reports of the errors. These reports may also contain handwritten notes and corrections from CER staff.
