Originating Office: Operations Division Finding Aids: Records Center "BLUREC" Database Disposition AuthorityUnscheduled Series Description: The Graphite Reactor Logbooks are the continuous, handwritten record of the daily activities of the reactor operators. The volumes are numbered from 22 to 109. Each operator noted activities during the shift and included information on difficulties encountered, fuel loading and unloading, sample irradiations, start-up and shut-down, and the times at which all actions were taken. Each entry also includes the operator's initials or signature. Also noted are transfers of samples to other divisions, including isotopes. Samples are only identified by number, not by substance.
