Hardware/Software: DEC 6240 Minicomputer/ASCII file format Originating Office: LANL, Occupational Medicine Group, Epidemiology Disposition Authority: Unscheduled File Description: 1) The file MND.OCT88 is the analysis file for the paper titled, "Mortality Among a Cohort of Workers Monitored for Exposure to the Radionuclide 210Po," published in Health Physics 61 (July 1991): 71-76. 2) This is a computer file containing external ionizing radiation data. The results of this analysis were published in the Journal of Occupational Medicine 33(5) (May 1991), "Mortality Among Workers Exposed to External Ionizing Radiation at a Nuclear Facility in Ohio," 632-637. A file named MEXTEXP.DAT is a subset of the analysis file MOUND.APRIL87 containing those workers exposed to more than one rem of external ionizing radiation. 3) This group of files represent the original standard mortality ratio (SMR) file (MOUND.OUT) and the SMR analysis file (MOUND_OCT91.LBL) sent to the Comprehensive Epidemiologic Data Resource Center at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory in California. The result of this study appears in Los Alamos National Laboratory report LA-11997-MS (April 1991), "Mortality Among Workers at the Mound Facility: A Preliminary Report." Related Records: II.
