Series Description: This series consists of a directory of organizational codes for 1944 through 1968 which was developed to define employees' working environments. Due to the transfer or purging of many records after General Electric Company's tenure as operations contractor, the code directory was reconstructed by an investigator from the Environmental Health Sciences Organization through interviews with current and former employees. The directory lists all contractors active at Hanford by year, department titles with assigned code numbers, and the names of supervisors for each department.
