Series Description: This series consists of a report titled The AEC Health and Mortality Study: Its Purpose, Scope and Design and the Supporting Data System from the Hanford Operations. This report describes the data collection and automated data processing systems design at Hanford. The study was initiated to determine the feasibility of utilizing contractor records for determining whether any correlation existed between health events (i.e., illnesses, accidents, and injuries) and long-term radiation exposure. The report describes data collection activities, sources, and file components.
